The main aims of Dartmoor Wood-Fuel Co-operative are:
- To encourage local boiler installations and woodland owners to collaborate which will enable us to take the Co-operative forward in promoting biomass and the environmental benefit.
- To reduce carbon emissions by using sustainably managed woodlands and improving their biodiversity.
- To develop public awareness of renewable energy and encourage eco-tourism around Dartmoor.
